About the Institute
Chembur Karnataka College of Law (CKCL) was established in the year 2017 with the objective of imparting quality legal education supported by practical training, aimed at strengthening ethical values and professionalism in the legal fraternity.
The college was inaugurated by Justice Shri Shivaraj V. Patil, Former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, with Shri I. M. Chagla, Senior Advocate, as the Chief Guest and Shri Rohit Kapadia, Senior Advocate, presiding over the inaugural function.

CKCL aims to develop honest and competent law professionals with integrity, diligence, and a strong national spirit.
Legal education at CKCL extends beyond courtroom practice and prepares students for administrative, corporate, academic, and policy-making roles.

CKCL offers world-class infrastructure with modern, technology-enabled classrooms, a well-equipped law library, and guidance from distinguished faculty members including full-time and visiting professors.
The college has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with National Law School of India University, Bangalore, to promote faculty and student exchange programmes and enhance academic exposure.
