About Chembur Karnataka Sangha

Founded in 1966, Chembur Karnataka Sangha is a beacon of education, values, and community service, nurturing generations with knowledge and character.

Our Beginning

Chembur Karnataka Sangha was established in 1966 as a charitable institution registered under the Societies Registration Act and the Bombay Public Trust Act. It began with a small yet powerful vision—to serve society through quality education.

Humble Roots

The Chembur Karnataka High School started its journey in 1966–67 with just 40 students, three teachers, and two modest sheds in a garage. What it lacked in infrastructure, it made up for with determination, passion, and purpose.

Growth & Expansion

Rapid growth led the school from its initial location to the Natraj Building and later to its present campus at ‘Vidya Sagar’, Ghatla. Over the years, the institution expanded steadily and earned a strong reputation in the locality.

Education with Values

Today, the school imparts education to nearly 4,000 students. Along with academic excellence, strong emphasis is placed on moral values, discipline, and holistic development in an eco-friendly and spacious campus.

Support & Facilities

With valuable guidance and funding from charitable organizations and prominent well-wishers, the Sangha has consistently enhanced facilities to provide students with the best learning environment.

Golden Jubilee

The Golden Jubilee was celebrated on 1st April 2017 with a memorable musical journey titled “Yaadon Ki Baarat” at Shri Shanmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Auditorium, marking 50 glorious years of educational service.
